HIGH PERFORMANCE CAPACITORS

Faradox is developing the next generation of high temperature capacitors capable of operating at
temperatures greater than 250C. Faradox Oxfilm(TM) capacitors achieve significant advantages over
alternative high temperature capacitor offerings. These advantages include high reliability,
graceful failure, high energy density, and low leakage currents.

Applications are found in the power conversion electronics of downhole tools, aerospace actuation systems,
defense weapons systems, alternative energy generation stations, and hybrid-electric vehicles.

Faradox has been issued a patent in December 2008 covering the fundamental technology innovation that
enables Oxfilm capacitors. An additional patent has been filed and others are under development.
